Facts

Alright, some facts about me… I’m not very interesting, but I’ll try.

- I was born on Thanksgiving. I was 10lbs when born, which is why my mom gave me the nickname Turkey. She still calls me it, sadly.

- I can’t watch E.T. Probably since I was six I’m afraid he’ll come and get me in the middle of the night

- If the time is right I can be amused by anything. On a couple occasions I had a yarn ball that I made into a ball then unraveled and rolled into another ball. This went one for a few days.

-I haven’t had a real best friend since 3rd grade.

-Of real life guys I’ve maybe had a couple crushes. The first turned out to be a complete asshole, although I seldom spoke to him and I actually had a friend tell him I liked him. His reply to that was apparently ‘ew’. That was 6/7th grade. My next one was 11/12th grade, although I didn’t admit it to any of my friends until just before prom. The way I felt about him was greatly different than the first guy, although in the end I decided never to tell him because we were friends and I didn’t want anything to be awkward between us. Whether or not that was a mistake is unknown, I guess maybe the future may reveal it.

-To stick with this topic for the moment, I’ve never had a boyfriend. I’ve never gone on a date, never flirted with a guy, nothing. School has always been more important to me.

-I can’t play Wii Sports with other people very well. I’m a very competitive person, and that most definitely shows when I play Wii tennis or baseball. I have nearly knocked someone out before because they were standing too closely.

-I have mastered ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’ by Jet on the guitar on Rock Band. It took me many a time but I finally hit every note, and I’ve continued doing so.

-I am incapable of playing the drums on Rock Band. It’s not as much a problem of hand and foot coordination as it is the positioning of the pedal making it difficult for me to hit.

-There are several songs on Guitar Hero and Rock Band that I cannot play holding the guitar how you’re supposed to. However, when holding in like a violin I improve significantly.

-I hate kids. I’m not overly fond of people in general, but I REALLY hate kids. Babies cry and yell all the time, and the only difference as they age is that they cries are actual words instead of random noises. I never plan on having kids, it would be a major setback in my life and would ruin my career in the future.

-I wish that there was harsher punishment for animal abuse. Animals are the only good thing in the world, they’re always there for you and don’t ever piss you off. Anyone who does anything cruel to an animal deserves to be first tortured and then killed.

-I believe that if you’re stupid enough to do something you shouldn’t then you deserve whatever comes with it.

-I believe that in practically every case subbed anime is better than dubbed. So many anime I’ve seen subbed but watched the first episode dubbed to see what it’s like and I’m appalled. They butcher the characters and in the process the entire anime.

-I have memorized the entire Phantom of the Opera movie. The summer between my sophomore and junior year of high school I watched it a total of 164 times.

-One month of one summer I really had nothing to do so I read 37 books. I’m pretty sure the Harry Potter books were the ones slowing me down, because another series I had also read I was getting in 2.5 books a day.

-Modern day literature-wise, Harry Potter is the best. It is and will forever be the best series that has ever been written.

-Of more classic literature I’d have to say my favorite novel is The Bell Jar. However, Catcher in the Rye was a close second.

-I have memorized and often use the many phrases of Dory from Finding Nemo in real life.

-Many things I believe to be life lessons come from anime.
