|K-ON! and Occult|
This post will be mostly if not all anime/manga related. I was feeling rather sad today when I read the last chapter of K-ON!, and then thought how it’s turning into another FMA with the manga ending and the anime ending very soon. Then I watched episode 11 of Occult Academy and it made me happier. It won’t be much, but I’m going to put my thoughts behind a cut since I don’t want to spoil any of it for anyone for hasn’t watched/read what I write of.
K-ON! ended on a good note, I think. You can’t do much in 8 pages, but Kakifly ended it well. I feel as if I should have figured that Jun and Ui would end up joining the Light Music Club. I loved how Azusa kind of broke down and begged Yui to not graduate. I’m sure everyone knew that she was sad about all of her senpai leaving, but was trying to hide her sadness about it. Now I’m so curious as to what’s going to happen to everyone. Like if Azusa is going to try to get into the same university as them so HTT can be reunited. And what is the light music club going to do about the fourth member they need to be recognized as a club? So many questions, but since there’s going to be two episodes more than needed to finish up the manga in the anime, maybe KyoAni will do an after graduation thing.
Now to Occult Academy. This week was really good, it moved things along very well. Definitely the best so far. I knew that Maya wasn’t dead, seeing as the body on the ground had shoes on and Fumiaki had hers, plus when they showed the vice-principal in the room with her prior her dirty feet from walking home without shoes were shown. However, I didn’t expect that the vice-principal would help to save Maya or that she was a white mage who promised to protect Maya. And I have to sadly say I didn’t see Mikaze being a black mage happening, even though as many people have pointed out there was no way she wouldn’t be suspicious, it’s not like she had any other real role. Fumiaki is such a loser, he’s even more useless and more of a loser than a guy with a harem. Next episode looks interesting, a lot of fighting (awesome fight between vice-principal and Mikaze).
And just for the hell of it, HOTD this week…next week better be good. There has been a seriously lack of killing zombie and kicking ass these past two episodes.Tags: Anime, HOTD, k-on, Manga, occult academy
