Things keep getting better and better. Today I began to look over financial aid stuff for the upcoming fall semester. I can get 5500 right now, and I’m going to apply for 5500 from a private lender, but I need a cosigner. That should be easy enough, I think. Still, that’s a lot of money. I was hoping to keep my 3k scholarship by getting an A in 102 this summer and GRO-ing my calculus grade, so instead of having that E (or F) in my GPA it would change to a B, which I’m pretty sure I got this summer. But now I’m not even sure if I can do that, since the course wasn’t taken at the school. I’m going to have to look further into it, because it’s the equivalent course, it’s just called something different and taken at community college. I really hope I can, because it will help me out so much. And speaking of school, I only have tomorrow and then I’m done with summer classes. I’m actually not going to English tomorrow, because I finished the last assignment today and turned it in, so if I go tomorrow I’ll have nothing to do. And math it’s just come and get your test and if you’re happy with the grade you get for the class you can go, and if not you can take the final to replace your lowest test grade. I’m fairly confident I got a B on the test I took today, so if I did I won’t bother with the final. Even getting a B is amazing enough for me in calculus. I’m really bad at it.
HBP comes out two weeks from now. I made sure my mom got the day off. I know it’s going to suck, but we’ll be getting there at least two hours early so we’re first in line so we can get primo seats. I also have to read the book within the next two weeks so it’s fresh in my head. That won’t be too hard, I finished it the first time in two days.
If I ever get a good picture of her I should put a picture of Princess Peach on here. The kitten, not the Mario one. She’s gotten so big since we found her, and her face has started to retain a more oriental shape and her ears are really big. Unfortunately her eyes are a really dark hazel, not green or blue like I had hoped for, but she’s still cute. Tortellini, who used to be Spitfire but since she isn’t a little hellion that hisses at everyone when they walk by now so we renamed her, has beautiful eyes. Seriously, that cat is gorgeous. Her tortoiseshell coat is beautiful, plus it’s starting to get a bit longer, but her eyes, they’ve turned a bright gold and with her coat it’s amazing. Of course, since she’s droopy eyed she looks more cute than stunningly beautiful, but still.
Oh yeah, another funny thing. Since the library parking lot was packed tonight we parked towards the back. When we were walking to the doors an old guy was trying to get out of there. Now, since it’s right next to a huge park, there are tons of peacocks (some peahens) and roosters all over the place, they just roam outside the library. Well, there was a peacock who had been hanging outside in the back parking lot that was pretty much abandoned with the exception of this guy. Well, it didn’t want to move, and because it didn’t want to move it started to make a big fuss. But eventually it moved. Still, it was funny.Tags: animals, avatar, cat, college, harry potter, life, mythbusters, School
